FAMZINE Issue #13: An Illogical Triskaidekaphobe's Guide to Touching Wood
* About the Book: This issue experiments with five different wood veneers across its cover sections, is bound with actual wooden rulers, and layers its pages with silkscreen and foil stamping. Spanning over 200 pages in a mix of formats and sizes, it is a chaotic mix of ideas, textures and stories about good luck.
* About the Contributors Claire Lim (Mom), Renn Lim (Son), Aira Lim (Daughter) Pann Lim (Father)
* About the Publisher: Rubbish Famzine is a family zine created by mother Claire, son and daughter Renn and Aira, and father Pann. They started it in 2013 under their family art collective, holycrap.sg. Each issue takes a completely different form and subject, but the constant is this: everything is conceived, designed and partly assembled by hand, as a family. Only 300 copies are printed per issue.
* The zine has won the President's Design Award for Design of the Year, multiple D&AD Pencils including a Yellow Pencil, and recognition from the international independent publishing community. It is, at its core, a labour of love disguised as a magazine. Rubbish Famzine issues 1 to 12 were recently acquired for the permanent collection of the Singapore Art Museum.
