Offset Printing: Copper / Neon Pink / Cyan
We’re back with a 2nd Edition of this experimental publication together with Lasalle Design Communication students. This time, new spot colour combinations that we’ve rarely seen are being used—Process Cyan, PANTONE 806 C, and PANTONE 876 C.
Check out the First Edition here.

Offset printing, although a standard in commercial printing, is often used in larger projects due to its cost-effectiveness in larger quantities, which incurs costs impractical for students or small initiatives. For this reason, it is seldom experimented with as a process and is even less likely encountered as part of learning in graphic design.
This project addresses this limitation and with the generosity of Allegro Print, invites students to explore offset printing using non-CMYK spot colours. The process involves creating test print images/graphics and a few rounds of testing using the Risograph (as simulation) and offset printing press to produce this small publication of collective sample experiments.
